FANCY BEING A ‘JPOP’? We reckon that lots of people might just apply for this JIMMY POSSUM position because of its sexy title, and that’s fine, just as long as they are the very best administration folk in the business in Brisbane (Fortitude Valley)! When we say we need an administration person, what we really mean is that we need an absolute administration authority, someone who will be able to produce the facts, figures and reports at his/her fingertips (they can be painted or not!); who will speak the same language as our IT team; who will ensure that the store, the orders, the computer system, stock inventory, staff requirements and order deliveries tick over like clockwork, seamlessly, without a flaw or a fault or a failing … always! Superb communication techniques, timely follow-up and attention to detail, and complete ownership of the role is what’s involved, and what the new JPOP is expected to provide and produce (almost) in his/her sleep! Make no mistake, this is going to be a busy role, but you’ll be working with the best in the business, in a (‘swinging, singing’!) team environment, where commitment is a given, and if you have the multiple skills required …… you’ll just waltz through! So, if you’re a BBoy or a BGirl, if you can dance a Jig or a Tango or do the Twist, if you have the qualities, the qualifications, the expertise and experience to be the ‘controller general of operations’, ‘the captain of checking and double checking’, ‘the first in command of organising and arranging’, you won’t make a song and dance of taking on this great role. This is a part-time position (20 -24 hours per week), which may include weekend work, and the occasional ‘Hip Hop’ inter-state visit!
